I’m thrilled to share an exciting new chapter in our church plant’s ministry here in Bucharest. Over the past few months, God has been laying the groundwork for something special, and I’m overjoyed to announce that we’ve launched a Men’s Ministry—serving both our church plant and our mother church!

This ministry is designed to help men (both young and old) to grow in their faith and become the godly leaders their families, churches, and communities need.

Anchored in God’s Word

At the heart of this ministry is a shared journey through Gene A. Getz’s classic book, The Measure of a Man. Together, we’re exploring the 20 biblical traits that define godly manhood. Our monthly meetings provide a space for open discussion, encouragement, and accountability as we study God’s Word and reflect on how to apply these principles in our daily lives.

Small Groups for Deeper Growth

Between our larger monthly gatherings, we break into smaller groups of three men for deeper study and more personal connection. These small groups allow for greater transparency, more focused discipleship, and intentional prayer for one another.

I’m currently leading two of these smaller groups, drawing inspiration from Disciplines of a Godly Man by R. Kent Hughes and How God Makes Men by Patrick Morley to prepare for our studies and discussions. These books have greatly influenced my approach to helping “raise up men.” We have rich conversations, and I am able to share practical insight as we learn to discipline our hearts, minds, and actions according to God’s design.

A Personal Blessing

One of the greatest joys for me in this season is that my son, CJ, is part of one of my small groups. Seeing him grow in his faith and engage deeply with the other men has been a true blessing. It’s a reminder of the generational impact we’re aiming for in this ministry—raising up not only godly men but also future spiritual leaders.
