This past week, our church planting team spent three days in the beautiful Romanian mountains, away from the busyness of daily life, to seek God’s direction and work through important plans for 2025. It was an invaluable time of prayer, discussion, and vision-casting for the future of Biserica 9, our church plant.

Solid Foundations, New Challenges

We’re thankful to report that Biserica 9 is on solid footing as we head into 2025. God has been faithful, and the church continues to grow both spiritually and relationally.

However, as our family prepares to leave for furlough later in 2025, it’s a bittersweet time for the team. While we know this is part of God’s plan, our absence will bring challenges, and we’re trusting Him to strengthen and sustain the ministry during this season of transition.

• Biserica 9’s Growth: Pray that the church will continue to grow in faith, unity, and outreach.

• Financial Stability: Pray for God’s provision as Biserica 9 is trusting God to meet the practical needs required to sustain and grow the ministry.

• Team Strength: Pray for the church planting team to remain united, focused, and encouraged as they take on additional responsibilities in our absence.

• Our Furlough Transition: Pray for our family as we look towards furlough, that once we are gone, that we’ll stay connected to the team and church even from afar.

We trust that God will continue to work powerfully through Biserica9 in 2025, and we’re excited to see how He will provide and lead. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean so much to us as we follow His call to plant a gospel-centered, Christ-exalting church in the heart of Bucharest.
